A Free initiative – Open for all students writing Mains 2025
LAMP (Live Answer Writing for Mains Program) is a free initiative, open to all students appearing for UPSC Mains 2025.
A structured, 50‑day free initiative by InsightsIAS to build consistency, discipline, and real-exam answer writing practice – online and offline at Bengaluru, Delhi, Srinagar & Davanagere.
Open to all serious Mains 2025 aspirants who cleared Prelims
Fixed Writing Slot: 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM (Offline Mode)
Participants attending in offline centres must write strictly between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM to simulate real exam conditions.
Online Submissions Deadline: 12:00 PM (Noon)
For online participants, answer scripts must be submitted before 12:00 PM each day.
Only those writing within the above time frames (Offline: 8:30–10:00 AM, Online: before 12 PM) will be eligible for the “Best Copy of the Day” feature.
The best answer script will be reviewed and announced by 6:00 PM on the same day.
Answer-Writing Format:

GS 1–3: 5×10‑markers + 5×15‑markers in 1 hour

GS‑4 (Ethics): 7 theory Qs + 3 case studies in 1 hour

Essay Writing: 1 full-length essay in 1.5 hours

Subject-wise Full-Length Tests

Final Mains Simulation Tests (20 Qs in 3 hrs per GS paper)

30-min Peer Discussions post writing

Steps to enroll:
- We have kept a nominal charge of Rs. 10/- for subscription
- Admissions on first come first serve basis
- You need to upload your UPSC CSE Admit Card in the portal (this is to check students who have not cleared Prelims 2025 from taking admissions)
