Prelims-2024 is just over and many of you are wondering about the cut-off, some are rechecking your scores with various answer keys, hoping to get a few more marks. Some of you are happy with your performance and elated, while others are on the borderline and feeling tensed. A few of you might be unhappy with the silly mistakes you made.
No matter how you’re feeling, remember that each step is a part of this journey. The success lies in how fast you can bounce back and get back to preparation.
Irrespective of whether you have scored really well or on the border line, your preparation must continue to crack this exam in this or next attempt. Every bit of preparation you make, adds up and gives you an advantage.
Results will be out within 8th July 2024. Do not procrastinate and waste these good 20 days irrespective of your scores.
We understand that you might not have practiced writing answers for the past 2 months and focused solely on Prelims Exam. You may be hesitant to start writing with a fear of writing not so good answers.
All you need is a little motivation and a push to Start. The secret of getting ahead is getting started. We thought of introducing this free initiative early to motivate you to kick start your answer writing practice.
This year we are conducting the first round of our FREE ALL INDIA STEP-UP MAINS TEST SERIES 2024 which begins this Saturday(22nd June 2024). Yes, even before Prelims results are out.
Wondering why??
- We want you to START writing answers. we believe in the motto that the one who has strong writing skills has the best chance of getting selected – so, we are starting with Mini Tests in the first round of FREE STEP-UP MAINS TEST SERIES 2024.
- When you clear Prelims 2024, by then this exercise will build momentum for you to participate in full-length Mains tests and improve your answer writing skills.
- Unfortunately, if you do not clear Prelims 2024, you would have given the BEST START for CSE 2025 preparation. When you feel like quitting, think about why you started. Learn from your mistakes and start afresh. But this time be wiser. Finish your preparation for Mains exam by September as if you are writing Mains exam 2024 and continue the cycle of revision and practice!
Details of STEP-UP Mains Test Series 2024 ( Round 1):
- Round 1 includes Mini Tests for Essay, GS 1, GS 2, GS 3, GS 4
- Essay paper will have 2 Essays out of which 1 Essay has to be written. GS 1, GS 2, GS 3, GS 4 papers will have 10 questions each.
- Round 1 will be conducted in the online mode as well as offline mode in Delhi & Hyderabad only
- Answer copies should be submitted the same day
- All papers submitted on the same day will be evaluated within 5 days
- Detailed and personalized Evaluation by a team of experts
- Detailed synopsis will be provided (softcopy)
- Discussion Videos will be provided

How to join STEP UP Mains Test Series?
- Login to the portal: instacourses.insightsonindia.com
- Subscribe for STEP UP MAINS TEST SERIES 2024 (A nominal fee of Rs. 10/- is charged)
- Join the telegram channel link for STEP UP Mains Test Series 2024 that is sent over mail after you subscribe to the course
- Follow the instructions sent in the Telegram channel to write the test in the online mode as well as offline mode.
- You also need to upload your Prelims Admit card in the portal – you will receive a pop-up for the same
- Admit-cards will be checked and only then papers will be considered for evaluation. This is to avoid large number of students who have not attempted prelims 2024 sign-up for Test series with evaluation
- If you do not upload admit-card, you can take the test. However, answer copies will not be considered for evaluation. (we do not want to disappoint students who have not written Prelims 2024)
- Evaluated copies will be uploaded to your course portal.
- You will also find Discussion Videos in the course portal.
