About Unani Medicine:
Unani medicine is an ancient Greek system of medicine based on the teachings of Hippocrates in 460 BC. The system is based on the qualities of four temperaments and four humours.
Unani medicine has an age-old concept and principles of drug management. Hippocrates propounded the doctrine of fluids, or humours, of the body, and he categorized the humours into four groups based on their colour. These groups appear in Unani practice as dam (blood), balgham (phlegm), safra (yellow bile), and sauda (black bile).
