InsightsIAS is delighted to announce that we are back with our pioneering initiative that has given our institution several top ranks since its inception: the much acclaimed CORE BATCH! We will be conducting an entrance-cum-scholarship test for the CORE BATCH 2024 on 15^th July 2023 (Saturday) in both online & offline mode (at all our branches: Bengaluru, Delhi, Lucknow, Srinagar, Mysuru, Dharwad & Belludi).

This article will talk about the CORE BATCH 2024 Timetable and its benefits! Our founder & director, Vinay Sir, always believed in “learning by doing”. The CORE BATCH is the embodiment of this philosophy. Our very first offline batch in 2014 had just 40 students and we got 5 ranks from it-Ranks 8,26,36,97,392 from 15 odd students who remained (sustained) till the end of the program. Since then we have produced several ranks in the top-10: including Nandini KR(AIR-1 in 2016), Sachin Gupta (AIR-3 in 2017), Jeydev ( AIR-5 in 2019) and We dared to be different from the herd, emphasized that it is practice that matters, not just reading and introduced this as an intensive answer writing program!

This year, the CORE BATCH promises to be special. Why? If you have noticed, it is priced at just Rs. 2,000, instead of Rs. 70,000. We have decided to restart CORE BATCH in its original 2014 format- accessible, affordable and available to the most hardworking & dedicated aspirants! We have added several new features too!

The fundamental principle that makes core batch unique is its focus on intensive and regular answer writing in a timed manner. Incremental improvement is the mantra of the program!

Since its inception in 2014, the Core Batch has been instrumental in creating many toppers, Rank-1 in CSE-2016 (Nandini K R), Rank-17 in CSE-2018 (Rahul Sankanur), Rank-5 in CSE-2019 (Jeydev CS), Rank 40(Anant Dwivedi – Delhi Core Batch), Rank 77(Akshay Simha ) in UPSC CSE 2020, AIR 31(Avinash) in UPSC CSE 2021 & Abhinav Siwach (Rank 12 in UPSC CSE 2022).

DECODING THE CORE BATCH 2024 TIMETABLE :

Well-structured and systematic plan: GS Tests will be conducted on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. There are no holidays on these days. You need to be disciplined and consistent to see sustainable progress.
Essay tests will be conducted on alternate Sundays
Recommended: Solve a Prelims Test every Sunday
Recommended: Solve an Optional Subject FLT every Saturday.
Total No. of Optional Tests incorporated into the timetable: 30[We will not provide the Optional tests]
Current Affairs: You will be studying current affairs for every test(our Weekly CA Magazines, Monthly CA Magazine: CURRENT AFFAIRS 30 & PRIME). This will ensure multiple revisions- on a daily, weekly & monthly basis.
Secure: Answer-Writing is the crux of the CORE BATCH! Thus, our famous initiative will also be included in each test.
CA Quiz: The CORE BATCH is intended to ensure that you prepare in an integrated manner for prelims & mains. Spend half an hour each day solving all the quizzes on our site. Ensure that you revise CA by solving the CA Quizzes without fail.
Clarity on the Resources to be studied: We have given chapter-wise sources in a precise manner. Can you finish studying all sources for each test? Maybe not. However, we have 4 rounds of tests. This will enable you to finish the sources well over several tests with ample revisions.
Study Holidays: have been incorporated to give you time to learn and revise before each test.
Regular Sessions will be conducted by Vinay Sir to ensure that you are on track to achieve your goal of a top rank in UPSC CSE 2024
Group Discussions will be conducted after each test. This will help you gain wider perspective on topics and allow you to enrich your answers and analytical thinking.
Peer review of answers
Groups will be formed based on Optional Subjects.
Orientations for each subject will be pre-loaded into the InstaCourses Portal. They will empower you to understand and analyze the essence and trend of every subject enabling you to draw-out a map for your personalized preparation.
Mentorship: You will be assigned a mentor who will guide you through your preparation, solve doubts, help you improve and ensure that you are on track to ace the exam. Dedicated mentorship is provided to help you achieve that extra edge over your competitors.
