7. A man-eater Tiger has allegedly killed 9 persons in the past 8 weeks and villagers at angry at lackadaisical efforts taken by the forest department. The Chief Wildlife Warden has ordered that tiger be killed at the earliest as attempts at capturing it have not yielded desired results.

The surrounding areas have about 12 tigers and official are on a lookout for the man-eater. A villager gives a tip off about a tiger sighting in a paddy field and forest departments teams arrive. But nobody is sure whether or not if it is the same man-eater tiger or a different one. Villagers who have gathered and start throwing stones while themselves with sticks. Confrontation seems imminent.
