1. Despite being the lifeline of India’s water supplies, groundwater issues are often overlooked. Examine the issues with ground water utilisation and suggest steps to promote its sustainable use and management. (250 words)

4. What is Balance of payments (BoP)? Even though the reform process has strengthened resilience of India’s BoP, at the same time vulnerabilities arise with greater exposure of the economy to the rest of world through liberalised trade and investment environment. Analyse. (250 words)

It also means the implementation of the decisions of the government by the civil service faithfully whether such decisions were in consonance with their advice or not. Substantiate with examples.
