The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has formulated a scheme “SMILE – Support for Marginalized Individuals for Livelihood and Enterprise”, which includes subscheme – ‘Central Sector Scheme for Comprehensive Rehabilitation of persons engaged in the act of Begging’

Key Demand of the question:

To write about the measures needed to mainstream transgender community in India.

Comment– here we must express our knowledge and understanding of the issue and form an overall opinion thereupon.

Begin by giving statistic about amount of transgenders in India.

Metaverse is more than a buzzword. It is an idea whose time has come. But then, the metaverse is not really a new concept; it has been around as an idea for decades.

Discuss – This is an all-encompassing directive – you must debate on paper by going through the details of the issues concerned by examining each one of them. You must give reasons for both for and against arguments.

Begin by defining metaverse.

Body:

First, Next, Elaborate on the various components of the metaverse and its possible applications. Substantiate with examples.

Next, write about the potential applications of metaverse in India – Businesses, remote working, industrial, problem solving and social interactions.

Next, mentions its concerns – data security, privacy concerns, digital divide, high cost of infrastructure and growing addictions.

5. For a country facing food shortage, India wastes a lot of its buffer stock which is a great malady for its food security. Analyse.  (250 words)

More than a million bags of paddy lying in the open in market yards in Odisha’s Bargarh district have reportedly got damaged due to heavy rain and hailstorm, which also caused extensive damage to vegetable crops in the district.

6. Do you think population can be controlled by bringing in a population control law? Analyze from an ethical standpoint. (150 words)

First, mention the advantages of population control law. Checking population, reduced demand on resources, better governance etc.

Next, mention its disadvantages – coercion, no sanction of society. Give the example of China,

Conclude by stressing on need for an attitudinal change towards population control rather than coercive one.

 

Topic:  case study.

7. Mr Joy is a posted as an intern journalist of a newspaper whose major work revolves arounds local bodies like gram panchayats and zilla panchayats. However, the area where he is posted is notorious for embezzlement and siphoning of funds. There also have been instances where RTI activists and whistle-blowers were brutally murdered for exposing scams.

Six months into his Job, Mr Joy comes across the document where a community hall has to be constructed for which 10 crore rupees were allocated from the state government. The timeline for the completion of the project was 1 year and it was shown that it was completed. Pictures of the new constructed hall are also present in the document.

Upon investigating, when Mr. Joy visits the hall, to his shock he finds that the plot where the hall is supposed to be is totally empty. On further investigation he finds out that the pictures in the document are from a private hall in the village and not of the hall that was supposed to be constructed.

He further digs deep and find out the Chairman of the Gram Panchayat, The C.E.O of Zilla Panchayat and the Chief Project officer are the ones responsible for this scam. He gathers all evidence and wants to publish a report in the newspaper when his editor-in-chief calls him and asks him to drop any reporting on this matter. Further, he is transferred to the sports section of the newspaper. The editor is worried that newspaper maybe targeted by nefarious elements and safety of Mr Joy is also at threat. (250 words)

  4. Chart out a course of action for joy which solves the issue and also safeguards him from any harm.
