1. Domestic politics has come to play a crucial part in the foreign policy of a country in recent times. Due to adversarial conditions in one of your neighboring countries for some ethnic groups in their society, many people have left this region and started to cross over to your side for protection against violence. However, this situation is being used by the local party to build an image that your government is soft on illegal migration so that it benefits from such a stance in the upcoming elections which are to be held soon. Some of your coalition partners are also forcing you to take a tough stance against this situation even if it means sending back the people to their original country where clearly they do not enjoy safety from violence
