CASE STUDY
1. Your private company has applied for a tender which was issued by a government company. Your company has satisfied all the requirements issued by the government department. However, final approval is pending for the same. One day you get a call from the assistant to the officer who is authorized to give you the approval. He requested you to consider an individual who is a relative of the officer for a job position in your company. The assistant also indicated that awarding him job will get you in the good graces of the officer which will help you to get approval more easily.
However, when you looked at the job application. The candidate is unsuitable for any vacancy in your office. When you communicated the same to the assistant, he advised you to reconsider your decision again so as to ensure that your company gets the approval.
The award of the tender to your company is very crucial for the financial sustainability of your company. In this context, answer the following questions.
