We were waiting for an opportunity to provide best quality current affairs and issues analysis, especially the analysis of editorials from The Hindu and The Indian Express, for serious UPSC aspirants residing in all parts of the country.
News analysis with substance and experience is the need of the hour as it has become very difficult to select the best as there are a vast variety of sources available which most of the time do not cater to the ‘serious section’ of the UPSC aspirants crowd. Also quality content doesn’t reach students residing in remote parts of the country. Moreover, visually impaired aspirants also need access to quality content.
In this regard, henceforth, 5 days a week, we will be uploading analysis of news and editorials into our YouTube channel. This initiative will be called as ‘InstaDaily‘ Current Affairs and News Analysis (I-CAN)‘. We are sure that the I-CAN initiative will help you to write this exam with more confidence whether you are fresher or veteran.
This analysis of important news and editorials will be done by Kruthika, who got Rank 100 in CSE-2018.
Kruthika has consistently scored good marks (around 440+) in GS papers in last 3 Mains. Last year she scored 121 in the Ethics(GS-4) paper and has consistently scored one of the highest marks (290) in Public Administration optional subject.
Having given 5 Mains, 4 Interviews and being a topper twice (Rank 194 in CSE-2017, Rank 100 in CSE-2018), Kruthika comes with rich experience in both GS and Public Administration which helps her analyse news and editorials only from the UPSC civil services exam perspective, with sharp analytical approach.
She has been part of InsightsIAS as a student and also as contributor to our daily Secure initiative (synopsis) for the past few years. This experience will also be reflected in her videos where the focus will be mainly to help you understand issues holistically that too only from the prelims and mains exam perspective. . She has come forward to do this initiative voluntarily, where her contribution will made available free of cost to help IAS aspirants community.
In the video she will be asking you to write an answer to a question that’s psed at the end of the video – of whose answer will be discussed very next day. This way, this initiative will motivate you to write answers on a daily basis and get expert guidance free of cost.
