INSIGHTS IAS REVISION TIMETABLE
UPSC IAS Civil Services Preliminary Examination – 2018
Finally, the detailed revision timetable for UPSC civil services prelims – 2018 is here. Hope you had read our earlier post regarding importance of revision. We have carefully planned and included all important sources for revision.
Your success in prelims depends on multiple revisions of sources you have been following. The following Timetable looks intimidating, but a closer look will reveal that it’s manageable on day to day basis provided
- You have read NCERT books at least once
- You have solved Insights IAS Mock Tests 2018 at least once
- You have read standard books (Laxmikanth etc) at least once
Even if you haven’t read, you should go ahead and push all the limits (in case you badly want to clear prelims this year). But, give priority to revise mock tests, revision modules.
We have included all revision modules in the timetable. We have also included Economic Survey-2018, India Year Book-2018, Yojana (Jan-2017 to April – 2018), Tamil Nadu books, Important Reports etc.
Even CSAT is included.
This plan is exhaustive. You should try your best to achieve 100% targets. Even if you achieve 60-70 percent, you are on right track.
You should modify this timetable as per your needs. Spend more time on sources which you haven’t studied previously. Don’t study those things that you are confident about. Customise as per your needs (we have give Excel Sheet at the bottom for you to download). There is also PDF file available at the bottom.
We guarantee with confidence that if you sincerely follow this timetable and give all revision tests, YOU WILL DEFINITELY CRACK PRELIMS-2018.
This timetable will empower you with all that is required to crack prelims – 2018, howsoever tough it is. We are not talking about questions getting repeated from here. It’s about confidence in your own preparation. This timetable enables you to prepare for this exam at highest level possible.
Start early, i.e. start preparing by March 19. Early start will give you room for better revision.
Every day at around 8 pm we will post around 25 questions. Out of these 25 questions, 5 will be from current affairs. These 25 questions are FREE questions.
All questions will be new. Not repeated from our mock tests. Revise question-cum-solution documents of our mock tests (subscribe here) If you are following some other test series, revise them properly.
Note for Online/Offline Insights IAS Test Series Subscribers:
For those who were confused whether to follow revision timetable or test series timetable, we have included everything you need to study in the timetable well before giving each test. No need to panic or get confused. Just follow this revision timetable blindly and go on giving mocks as and when they are marked in the timetable (some tests – such as test 27, 28 etc -are included on different dates in this following timetable- this is for you to give room to prepare as per this timetable. But actual tests will be posted as per original schedule) You may give tests on original date or choose to give as per this timetable. However, we want to make it clear that for both online and offline, tests will be conducted as per original timetable.
Just follow this timetable. All your prelims related problems will be solved. 🙂
