9) You are working for the government. Recently, Chief Minister of your state is admitted in an hospital and his health condition is kept as secret by both hospital and higher functionaries of your state. However, one of your close friends works in the same hospital and is aware of Chief Minister’s exact health condition. He reveals it to you over dinner. You reveal it to some of your colleagues in the office. Next day police visit you and arrest you on the charges of spreading rumours on the health status of Chief Minister.
Examine the ethical issues involved in this case and critically comment if it was right on the part of government to arrest you. (200 Words)
