Pakistan is fond of seeking the intervention of UN, China or USA, depending upon its mood, in resolving the Kashmir issue. India is firm in its stand that no such mediation should be sought or allowed. Thankfully for India, USA, UN and China have kept themselves out in this issue. But, looking at never ending conflict between two neighbours, do you think India should seek some sort of international mediation, if not intervention, in resolving Kashmir issue? If yes, who should be the mediator – USA or UN? Or some other neutral person, agency or country? Why are we afraid of seeking any mediation? What will we lose if we seek mediation? Isn’t it in the interest of its people and its regional interests?
