MOTIVATION: What to believe in the crunch time!

………………………………

Belief in crunch time, belief, self confidence for exams, ias motivation, inspirationYour beliefs have always played a very strong role in your mindset for the exams or for any other achievement in that matter. Esp when the crunch time strikes, there are a plenty of thoughts on our minds and we wonder what thought to listen to strongly.

– FEAR

7 CREATIVE WAYS TO FACE FEAR

The first and foremost thought that strikes is the fear, the question as to whether things are going to work in our favour or not. And what do we do if they don’t? How to handle this fear? How to take control of it? How to make sure that it doesn’t affect us?

For starters, know that fear at this stage is a deterrent, it is not something which is going to help  you. You have to face it head on and what better way than the exam to do it? – Here is an article we wrote on 7 creative ways to face fear which might be of help.

– DOUBTS

ROADMAP TO ACHIEVING YOUR DREAMS

We begin to think whether we have done all that is necessary for the exam. But let me tell you that with an exam this wide, there shall never be a perfect preparation, there shall never be a time where you feel 100% up to it. The beauty of this exam is that there is a fair bit of uncertainty that rides along and that is certainly beautiful.

Face it head on, it is ok to be uncertain. All you need to think about right now is giving the best you got and making this an attempt that you can remember, nobody can take that feeling from you. Make sure you are there giving your 100%, don’t worry about the results now.

– CAN I DO IT?

Well if you keep asking yourself this, you will find an answer NO somewhere. So stop asking this question. Instead tell yourself that you can and you will. Keep telling yourself that. You are bound to achieve success. It is just a matter of time and effort

– WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU CAN’T?

What are the factors that are holding you back? There might be many. But remember that there is a lot of time for that. This is not the time. Sachin cannot keep thinking whether he can put a bat to the ball when he is looking at scoring the highest number of centuries ever. Sushil Kumar cannot keep thinking how strong his opponent is while fighting him.

You got to keep focussing on your strengths and strategies and how best you can use them to work in your favour. If you think of something else or if you keep thinking of something else, you are already fighting a losing battle. Instead, tune to the win and you will make it.

PS: This post was a suggestion by our friends Espirit, Bhavana. Hope I have answered you questions. If you have any thoughts in mind as to what I should write about, kindly let me know below and I shall update you soon 🙂
