Have you ever felt this? Well if you are quite worried about the exams, people around you pressurizing you that you should do it no matter what, that you should be able to give the results they expect, if you are bound by the rules of your peers, people around you and your own expectations, I am sure at some point of time and at some corner of your mind, such a thought would have occurred. But the question is not about what happens to you but what you do with it which makes the whole lot of difference 🙂
And what do we do when we are tensed?
– We try to compensate by pulling all nighters
– We get into different grooves and activities to solve our challenges
– We choose to distract ourselves either through stress eating or talking to people around as to what to do if you don’t clear it
And a hundred other patterns depending on our mindset and the way we handle our thoughts! Again, the question is what we do about these thoughts.
Try to understand what these thoughts are telling you. If they are pushing you toward preparations, then nothing like it. But if they are distracting you and making you feel bad about it, then you are in for some serious trouble and you need to gather yourself together.
Keep telling yourself that there is something extremely precious about the whole process, IT IS TIME. And that is going to be your only savior. Your exams, thoughts, demands and standards are all very valid parts of your life but none of them are as important as time now and if you need to make a difference, the answer lies in making good use of this time. If you think you have bigger problems like worry, then I think you are underestimating time. That is the biggest challenge you have!
