1) An under construction building has collapsed in a crowded market. You have been called to manage the rescue operation. A situation arises where two children are stuck under a concrete slab in the rubble. Workers cutting the slab find out that only one child can be saved despite every possible technique they can use to save the both. Of the two children is a small boy and a small girl, both about 8 years old. They are in extreme pain and are crying for help. The workers, caught in a classical ethical dilemma, are seeking your permission to save any one child. You have complete authority to take a decision.

Which child will you save? Explain why. (150 Words)
