It is interesting how people relate your past to your capacity and your ability to realize your dreams. Given a chance, they will come up with umpteen reasons as to why you cannot do something. Those will always be there.
But none of them are ever going to matter. It is about TODAY which makes the whole difference, yesterday is gone, it is over, it has happened already, what you do today paves the way for your future and your dream!
