MOTIVATION : Giving up

~V.Nagaraju

“I ran and ran and ran every day, and I acquired this sense of determination, this sense of spirit that I would never, never give up, no matter what else happened.”
-Wilma Rudolph

Does this sound familiar? I ran and ran and ran – I studied and studied and studied and I acquired the sense of determination, the spirit which said that I would never give up, the spirit which said I would brave all challenges in my path, the spirit which said I will stand up to these oppressions cos I know who I really am, who I really want to be and that takes all I got and I am willing to do the same. Pardon me if I am going a little overzealous on this quote. But perhaps this one does deserve that.

As far as the exams go, we all have slogged or are willing to do that, we all are going to go that extra mile to make it happen, take those extra credits, make those little differences. Let us face it, the competition is intense, it is going to make us sweat and try to go the distance. None of us is swerving from that. We are all here with that one single strand of perseverance saying that – I am not going to give up, simply because this dream means so much to me. So much that the very thought of doing that seems a little absurd and farfetched cos this is what the new definition is, the attitude and the personality of who and what you are and what you want to be.
